In reviewing the proposed Eagle Mountain Landfill project which is outside of the boundaries of the desert parks and wilderness areas, it appears its status is unchanged by the enactment of the California Desert Protection Act.
Feinstein clarifies that the landfill project remains unaffected by the Desert Protection Act.
