Dianne Feinstein: “How many will be available during fire season in California?”

Secretary Fudge, thank you for your continued collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs on the HUD-VA Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program.

Unfortunately, that prediction was all too accurate; although the 2021 Caldor Fire destroyed more homes than nine other disaster in 2021 combined.

I recently sent letters to you and Administrator Bose to include three wildlife overpasses as required mitigation in the pending permit.

Secretary Fudge, thank you for your continued collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs on the HUD-VA Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program, which provides permanent supportive housing to veterans experiencing homelessness.
