The amendment is as follows: (Purpose: To provide amounts necessary for accelerated cybersecurity in response to data breaches) At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. FUNDING. (a) In General.--Effective on the date of enactment of this Act, there is appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015, an additional amount for the appropriations account appropriated under the heading ``salaries and expenses'' under the heading ``Office of Personnel Management'', $37,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2017, for accelerated cybersecurity in response to data breaches. (b) Emergency Designation.--The amount appropriated under subsection (a) is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(i) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, and shall be available only if the President subsequently so designates such amount and transmits such designation to the Congress.
