So, yes, it is so important that we have the truth told of this legacy of slavery so that we can move forward and work together to end these racial injustices. I am reminded of Dr. Maya Angelou and what she once wrote. She said, ``I am the dream and the hope of the slave. I rise,'' in ``Still I Rise.'' Madam Speaker, I want to thank you today for bringing this forward, and I thank the chairwoman for yielding.
