I want to make sure, since it is my amendment--I don't want to lose total control of this. I would like to get to close after I have heard the opposition. I would love to have 2 minutes to rebut. If I could have 15 minutes to speak in favor of the amendment, have my colleagues lay out the argument against it, and if I could have 4 minutes to wind up, that will be good for me.

This is a sad moment, we always had two parties, one was to the right of center, one was to the left of center, and we never had a party, so extreme and so willing to become the party of grievance and anger and division.
