“Let me say that, fortunately, her decision was overruled unanimously by the State appellate court. This is the State appellate court. There are lots of Republicans on that court. They saw this was a terrible decision. Here is the list of women's groups against the nomination of Carolyn Kuhl. It includes Breast Cancer Action, Breast Cancer Fund--on and on-- Women's Leadership Alliance. And the same list--actually a few different names, for Janice Brown and for Priscilla Owen. These women do not care about women advancing. They have not cared about the equal rights of women. Let's have some backbone here and stand up when we think these nominees are good for the people and oppose them when we know they have been bad for the people and they will do worse yet.”
