Barbara Boxer: “This thing is really disturbing.”

There was a violent attack on our Capitol on January 6. We know what we saw. We knew it then. All these Republicans and right-wing commentators knew it then. And they decided to step back and not tell the truth. And the truth is coming out.

A rising tide lifts all boats, it was true then. It`s not really true now.

We Democrats, we do have a very good and diverse coalition. It truly is diverse, everywhere you look at it. But in terms of leadership in Congress, it is true, they’re getting older.

It`s time to change it.
