Mr. President, I well remember the prediction of doom on the other side of the aisle when we debated the President's deficit reduction plan. We did not get one vote of support from Members on the other side of the aisle. We did not get one vote for a plan that is producing real deficit reduction, meaningful deficit reduction. A plan that is having a positive impact on our economy.”
