I realized as I left the floor that at the time women were having these illegal botched abortions and were dying--it made some of them infertile, and they were suffering from trauma--they were not supporting the CDC or any government entity because they would have been put in prison because abortion was illegal. Any claim that the CDC would know the accurate number of illegal abortions just flies in the face of all common sense. Women were not cooperating with the Government. They were in fact standing up to the Government which had outlawed the procedure.
