I want to join my colleagues in urging you to consider implementing the GAO recommendation to consider a negotiated rulemaking.

As such, building even one new oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico will deepen the climate crisis, disproportionately imperiling low-income communities and communities of color in the process.

These targets are certainly reasonable, and they are consistent with what the world has agreed to for climate targets.
