I would like to emphasize how important a quick resolution of this process and a timely report will be to my constituents.

We are also concerned that the administration has not been forthcoming with the public about its reasons for moving forward with Lease Sale 257.

To stave off the worst impacts of climate change, we need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from 2005 levels by at least half by 2030.

I am glad also that we have come together to discuss this critically important issue.
