This scenario may sound too good to be true, but in fact, that is exactly the sweetheart deal that we are currently giving oil and gas industries, a sweetheart deal that should end. All Americans must deal with the unavoidable reality of inflation; so why shouldn't oil and gas companies? It is long past time for the BLM to assess better ways for the public to receive their fair share. Blocking the BLM from doing that is fiscally irresponsible, a giveaway to the oil and gas companies.
