What she's articulating is not the view of this president.

This is a president who doesn't trust his own staff, doesn't trust really anybody around him.

For this president to claim nobody is tougher on Russia... he has a dream come true for the Russians.

The president really doesn't want a witness. He's not willing to stand behind publicly what he is saying privately.
