The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle B of title III, add the following new section: SEC. __. REPORT ON RETRAINING VETERANS IN CYBERSECURITY. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and the Secretary of Homeland Security, shall submit to Congress recommendations for retraining veterans and retired members of elements of the intelligence community in cybersecurity. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 604, the gentleman from Texas (Mr. Gallego) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Texas.
