It was very clear that they did need this kind of permanent pay, this transparency on where their promotions will be going, payment, as well as to retain them.
They want to hear that there is a message that Democrats can deliver that can bring the party back to a winning situation — bring back working-class people, because that’s where we’re really getting f---ed and losing votes.
Everything we need to be doing is make sure to remind people that whatever the president’s doing right now, whatever Elon Musk’s doing now, is not making your life any better.
