Effective democratic governance depends upon informed public participation, and several international conventions and policy guidelines call for enhanced public participation in environmental management.

I would urge Secretary Mayorkas and the Office of Inspector General at the Department of Homeland Security to have these agents investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

I worry the integrity of the investigations is at risk.
