Mark Edward Kelly is an American politician, engineer, and former astronaut currently serving as the junior United States senator from Arizona. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected to the Senate in a special election held in November 2020 and officially took office on December 2, 2020. Kelly has focused on various issues during his tenure, including veterans' affairs, healthcare, and gun control, reflecting his commitment to public service and safety.
It has and continues to be about the degree to which we allow the federal government to dictate some of the most personal decisions in our lives.
We must make sure federal policies continue the gain and are not permitted to undermine the growth we've seen here in Pennsylvania and across our nation.
Employer provided health insurance is critical to the healthcare needs of many Pennsylvania families.
Those who happen to believe that change is only possible through more government control and more government spending do a nation a great disservice.

We've got to get through this as Americans. This is not a Republican or Democratic or Libertarian or Independent issue.
