The Federal Government's trust responsibilities to deliver water to our tribal communities, of course, is one of our most important duties.

Now is the time to put aside partisan and geographic divisions to act with determination and creativity to address this crisis.

We want enough time for the government to be able to process these asylum claims and then turn folks away who do not qualify, while settling people who do qualify.
