The name Mr. Assange has popped up, and I believe that he is one who's responsible for publishing names of individuals that work for us that put their lives in direct danger. Is that correct?
John McCain
The Public Record
John McCain was a prominent American politician and military officer who served as a United States Senator from Arizona from 1987 until his death in 2018. A member of the Republican Party, McCain was known for his bipartisan approach and commitment to national security. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he was a prisoner of war for over five years, an experience that shaped his political career and views on military and foreign policy.

He has, in the interests of ostensibly openness and transparency exposed in his prior exposures, put people at risk by his doing that.
We have got to develop that strategy even if it encompasses the Internet and social media.
It is a special privilege to serve on this committee, most of all because it affords us the opportunity to spend so much time in the company of heroes.
I believe the most appropriate means to conduct an inquiry is the creation of a special select committee in the Senate.
