I have that concern as well. If you just look at what was said just yesterday by the President, I think it is very concerning.

I would urge my colleagues to recognize that in the end we are 21 very imperfect Senators trying to do our best to provide advice and consent.

I believe that if you are confirmed to the Supreme Court--I do not believe that you would erode judicial independence or otherwise disrupt the separation of powers between the three branches.
