Jeff Flake is a former U.S. Senator from Arizona, serving from 2013 to 2019 as a member of the Republican Party. I am unable to go back to my constituents and say here is the reason that these people with multiple felonies were released into the community.
I share the concerns that some of my colleagues have expressed about some of the, for lack of a better term, extra-constitutional actions taken by the President with regard to the ACA.
What I would suggest is that it is not routine to go for a year, a year and a half, 2 years before you come back with an assessment that you said that you would do with regard to these programs.
