We should not tax the very people who need their money the most, my generation, to transfer that to the wealthy.

What we are effectively doing is we are transferring wealth from the young to the old.
Not necessarily less in dollar terms, but less than they are currently promised.
But it was not created to be paying $40,000 a year to somebody who made 130 every year of his life.
However, invoking privilege preventing access to documents should be done sparingly and err on the side of transparency.
Does it make sense for the wealthiest among us to have an increase in benefits after they have had their entire lives to save?
This is, by far, the biggest threat to retirement security, and should be addressed as promptly as possible.
