Interviews with Border Patrol agents have resulted in the reasonable acceptance of the simple fact that migrants are directly responding to the Biden administration's policies.

On rollcall No. 143 on H.R. 1065, I am not recorded because I had to return home to my district to attend the funeral of a close family friend. Had I been present, I would have voted ``nay'' on rollcall No. 143.
