I also want to note to the benefit of our colleagues that just this last weekend our President visited the State of Hawaii and he had an opportunity to meet with the leaders of these island nations at the East-West Center and the concerns expressed collectively by these leaders regarding homeland security. The security issues now of terrorism and issues of this nature are vitally important to this region of the world; and, again, this is all in concert with the efforts that we are making to make sure that we continue to establish good relations with our friends from Micronesia. I again thank my good friend, the gentleman from Iowa (Mr. Leach), for his tremendous support and leadership in bringing this legislation to the floor, again, sincerely hoping our colleagues will support this legislation.
