Now, if we are doing so good, Mr. Speaker, how come we are broke? I just do not quite understand that. It is like we did not have enough sense to tell the difference between turnip greens and butter beans. If we are doing so good, if this plan that the gentleman from Iowa kept referring to a while ago is working so well, how come we are broke? How come we need to borrow another $450 billion, not from ourselves, but from our children and grandchildren, for crying out loud? Who in their right mind would want to do something like that? Why would we want to come to this floor and borrow another $450 billion from our children and grandchildren and have no idea how we are going to pay it back?
