John Nichols Boozman is an American politician and optometrist currently serving as the junior United States senator from Arkansas, a position he has held since January 5, 2011. A member of the Republican Party, Boozman has focused on various issues including agriculture, healthcare, and veterans' affairs during his tenure in the Senate. I think we all agree that the climate is changing. The question is what is causing that, so that is really the sticking point.

I think this rationing is such an important situation. We are already seeing rationing right now. As an optometrist more than being a Senator, I get calls all the time from people who have moved into town and they can't find a health care…
I do not think, if we were visiting about 20 miles as farmer to farmer or Congressman to whomever, that we would have that connotation of as the crow flies.
One of the concerns I have is that we have heard from the administration and ag has kind of taken it on the chin the last couple years in doing their part to help us with the financial situation we are in.
My concern is, what does that do to all of us, but specifically single moms, people on fixed incomes and things where they cannot keep up.
But ag has kind of taken it on the chin the last couple of years under the current farm bill.
I would really encourage us to keep target prices on the table as we go forward and try and figure it out.
I can speak for all of the Committee and Congress in general that we are very, very concerned and certainly we have got to figure out that is not tolerate it, period.

I think that the Inspector General report is disturbing, very disturbing in the sense that in regard to the safety and security of women in some of these facilities.
