Give us a few more days to see whether these negotiations start, whether they're proceeding in good faith, whether progress can be made.

I am very pleased by the agreement that was reached, actually today before we came out, to start the negotiations on Sunday morning and to do it on a full-time continuous basis.

He may make one or two side trips.

But the progress they have made has proved to the world that progress is possible and peace is possible.

I'm convinced that this process and that these parties are in better shape in their relation to one another than they were 2 days ago.
