The Democratic Party is the principal engine in our time of economic empowerment.

I urge Congress to fully fund my lands legacy initiative this year and to work with me to secure permanent funding to continue these efforts well into the 21st century.

This recognition is deserved for an area that offers a variety of natural and geologic features and unsurpassed recreational opportunities.
