Congress should not run college sports. That’s the first thing I wanna say. We cannot run college sports.

College athletics should be a pathway to a degree, a meaningful career in a better future long after the final whistle blows.

Mr. President, I wanna bring up a subject today that’s close and near to my heart. Four things that made this country strong—made it the best country in the world is God, family, military, and sports.

We need to tariff the hell out of China. I don’t understand that. I don’t understand why we cannot protect our people in our country.

This year’s NDAA will make sure Alabama continues playing an outsized role in our national defense.

The U.S. military is not interested in appeasement, but in winning wars and keeping Americans safe.

The United States was constantly on our heels and playing defense under the Biden administration. Those days are over thanks to President Trump and Secretary Hegseth.

Our job isn’t to chase every new trend. Our job is to figure out what works, what doesn’t, and what’s best for students, parents, and teachers.

I’m thankful for the committee holding a hearing today to finally put this ridiculous residency hoax to bed.

So, for that reason, Mr. President, I object. I yield the floor.

We need more oversight on that. You know, it looks great when it comes in these frozen packages in the grocery store, but we’re putting it in our bodies.

The SAVE America Act is most important. It requires voters to show a government ID to vote in federal elections. What a thought. This is common sense.

We’re worried about MAHA and it’s a catastrophe.

We raised on the Gulf Coast about four percent of the shrimp that we eat in our country. So, 96 percent of the shrimp that comes that we eat comes from other countries.

China can come in and buy our lumber—our trees—and cut our trees, put them on ships, ship them back, mill them, make cabinets out of them—the same that we make here—and then ship them back and they undercut our prices.
