That’s in large part because I’ve had the privilege to represent over half of this new district already. We’ve shown up in the communities. We’ve shown them how we can deliver results.
There's not a country that I think TPS is designed at its core that's more deserving of that than the situations we currently see in Haiti.
This is a significant step in the right direction, but there is still a long way to go before this fight is settled.
Well, neither is true. The seat was never majority Black. It's currently about 47% Black. The new district takes that down to about 40% Black. And so we represent everybody.
