I think the thing that aggravates the public about that is, if we are truly moving to a threat- or risk-based perspective of how we do this job, why are we patting down Donald Rumsfeld?

But the fact is, over the last 2 years, progress at TSA has come at a snail's pace and in some ways has gone backwards.

Half the Congress wants to just get rid of the department, because they think it is useless.
