I do not think it is fair to say the previous administration shut down civil rights enforcement, and I reject that.

I do agree with you that it is a very difficult situation, and Alaska has a particularly unusual situation without having specific Tribal lands that receive specific funds from the Government.
I see the fact that no one was being prosecuted for this as a factor in a fivefold increase in four years in this count of illegal immigration. So, yes, hopefully people will get the message.
