Gary James Palmer is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Alabama's 6th congressional district since January 6, 2015. A member of the Republican Party, Palmer has focused on issues such as energy independence and national security during his tenure in Congress. I think--what I'm saying here, Mr. Chairman, if I may, is that you have a former EPA employee who, in testimony, sworn testimony, just in March, talked about what I consider a conspiratorial effort to avoid complying with Federal records.

From my perspective, it is the intention of the EPA, and I think this Administration, to eliminate fossil fuel, to shut down the coal industry.
I find it interesting that the EPA is implementing these rules and conducting themselves in a way that is more reflective of a police State than a regulatory agency.
Do you realize that when you talk about supplementing your renewables with natural gas, you are admitting that renewables are not a legitimate or reliable source of energy?
EPA has been very aggressive in enforcement. It has gone from a regulatory agency to almost operating like a police State.
It is exactly the type of Washington politics the American people are tired of.
