I rise this evening for the same reason many other folks are talking tonight--in support of the Creating American Jobs and Ending Offshoring Act. I believe we should reward companies that keep Americans working here in our country. As a former mayor, and really longer than any time I have served in public office, as a small business owner--that is what I spent my life around. I understand the impact of legislation and what it means for a business owner.
