Next thing you know, they took $700 billion out of Medicare to spend on new programs, at a time when the Medicare trustees, whose job it is to tell us things like this, said: The program is going to go broke unless we do something about it. We were saying: If you are going to take money away from grandma's Medicare, you better spend it on grandma. But they didn't. It impacted Medicare recipients in Georgia, Tennessee, and Louisiana.
