I simply wish to acknowledge the contributions of the Senator from Rhode Island. He may not officially be on the committee, but he stays actively interested in all of the education issues. He has made important contributions to the pending legislation in support of libraries, and we are working with him on a number of matters, including risk sharing and higher education.
