The amendment is as follows: (Purpose: To modify provisions relating to Nuclear Regulatory Commission fees) Beginning on page 55, line 23, strike ``Provided'' and all that follows through page 56, line 13, and insert the following: ``Provided further, That revenues from licensing fees, inspection services, and other services and collections estimated at $823,114,000 in fiscal year 2017 shall be retained and used for necessary salaries and expenses in this account, notwithstanding section 3302 of title 31, United States Code, and shall remain available until expended: Provided further, That of the amounts appropriated under this heading, not less than $5,000,000 shall be available for activities related to the development of regulatory infrastructure for advanced nuclear reactor technologies, and $5,000,000 of that amount shall not be available for fee revenues, notwithstanding section 6101 of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 2214): Provided further, That the sum herein appropriated shall be reduced by the amount of revenues received during fiscal year 2017 so as to result in a final fiscal year 2017 appropriation estimated at not more than $115,886,000.''.
