If they don't take him back, we can say: well, we're simply going to stop or restrict issuing visas to people from Pakistan to come here.
Chris Philp
The Public Record
Last year, the government gave Pakistan almost 150,000 visas. Now Pakistan is refusing to take one single criminal back. This is total weakness from Labour and a humiliation.
This precise scheme was proposed by us in an amendment to the Immigration Bill last year, which Labour blocked.
Labour should be putting illegal immigrants on a plane home rather than messing around with military camps and hotels.
Two-tier policing is real. It is hardcoded into policy documents, recruitment, and training.
But I would expect the vast majority of cases of illegal immigrants, to entail return to their country of origin.
Philp said the Tory plans would mean that the vast majority of people arriving in the UK illegally – such as by small boats or in the back of a lorry – would not be allowed to make a claim of asylum.
I just don’t believe there are that many students actually studying in these buildings, so I’m going to go in and take a look.
We need to leave the European Convention on Human Rights so that all illegal immigrants can be deported within a week of arrival - then the crossings would soon stop.
It is a disgraceful slur to suggest that those wanting to end illegal small boat immigration are prepared to see migrants drown.
I think a bill which creates a path to citizenship for illegal migrants and cancels the obligation on the government to remove people who arrive illegally is a shocking piece of legislation.
What is needed is a binding cap which Parliament can vote on, so Parliament can decide how many visas are issued each year.
