Reserving the right to object, as chairman of the Senate Health Committee, I will object, but I will work with the Senators from Pennsylvania, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Vermont to do what we need to do during the rest of the day so that the Senate will be able to adopt an extension of this important program to the end of the year, which I think we should be able to do. I will reserve the remainder of my remarks until the Senator from Massachusetts has a chance to speak. I object. The PRESIDING OFFICER. Objection is heard to the modification. Is there objection to the original request?
