The global financial system and indeed the global order is failing to serve developing countries on debt, on resilience and on climate. This is not just against our values but against our national interest.

Without an understanding, we would not have the necessary assurances for the security and protections of our staff and premises.

Accordingly, the UK has temporarily withdrawn a number of staff and families to ensure their safety and security.

Friends, I promise this. We will use our G20 presidency next year to meet our responsibilities and mobilise the world, building on the great achievements on debt and development of the last Labour government.
