It's sending a message to everybody here who has come in to No 10 North in its early days that you've got the full support of government from the very top - prime minister, chancellor, first secretary of state - that's a very powerful message that we're sending today, that the political commitment is there.

It is quite clear once again to the world who the aggressor is in this conflict, and we will use whatever influence we have got as the UK to bring the parties together behind President Zelensky and Ukraine.
I am somebody who believes that unions, trade unions, definitely, and I think unions of countries are better because you face a challenging world in a more confident and stronger way.
We obviously have close conversations with our US counterparts, and what I’m going to do is build that bridge and make sure that we’re still all working together to support Ukraine.
