And so, together, you guys represent what is best in America.

As we celebrate centuries of trial and triumph, let us rededicate ourselves to making our Nation a place that welcomes the contributions of all people, all colors, and all creeds.

The close bond between our people remains the greatest resource for our Alliance and for our shared vision of the future.

We can do more together than we can do on our own.

Here in America, we rise or fall together as one Nation, as one people.

This country exists because generations of Americans worked together and looked out for one other.

In the United States of America, we are greater together than we are on our own.

We will remember Pope Shenouda III as a man of deep faith, a leader of a great faith, and an advocate for unity and reconciliation.

In the United States of America, we are always greater together than we are on our own.

And so in the sunlight of this beautiful morning, with children from both nations in attendance, we reaffirm the enduring values in which our alliance is forever rooted.

I believe in the America that the people in this room believe in, and it's worth fighting for.

That American story has never been about what we do alone.

I am more determined and more confident than I have ever been that if we keep at it, that America is poised to be stronger, more unified, more competitive, bolder, more generous than we ever have been before.

Yemen has the potential to serve as a model for how peaceful transitions can occur when people resist violence and unite under a common cause.

I hope they will not think of them as somehow separate from the larger American story.

When our Union was at stake, we did not falter.

Together, all Americans must cultivate moral fortitude, preach tolerance, and demonstrate the value of respect for those different from ourselves.

I am absolutely confident that there is no problem we have in this country that cannot be solved if we are working together.
