We have an obligation to give every American who is willing to work for it a chance to walk across that bridge into the 21st century with us so we go forward together, leaving no one behind.

I want people to know a lot of good things are going on here now; number two, I want them to understand that more good things can go on; and number three, I want us to do more.

I want to come to the heart of America and Appalachia to talk about whether we're all going forward into the 21st century.

The next millennium must be a time of great progress and prosperity for our Native American communities, and we can make it so.

America is better off today than it was 6 years ago, that there are ideas behind the changes that took place in this country, and they're good ideas.
