I have been on a tour these last 2 days to highlight the good things that are happening in education in America.

We still have challenges.

The grownups have to take responsibility for this.

Today here in Kentucky and in other places across America, there is good news to report.

I love this community.

We must stay on track to do this by 2005.

I think there is every likelihood now that that bill will be on my desk for signature by the end of the month.

What are we going to do with these good times?

We have to keep the economy going.

We have to win in Colombia.

The current statute still does not concentrate resources sufficiently on those districts.

I think that this is a quickly evolving landscape.

I have actually shown up here for 8 straight years.

I'm working hard on this re´sume´ deal.

I have loved these 8 years.

It's been an honor to serve and fun to laugh.

Bill Bowen made me look absolutely passive.

I never worried about whether decisions would be made in a timely fashion.
