I think we also put forward the image of a nation that is strong and secure and self-confident.

Our country is so great and so strong and, I hope, in its attitudes is enlightened, progressive, and also, benevolent.

It is also very heartening to know that out here in the middle of this country there are a people--a people who are strong, a people who have backbone, a people who will stand up for America.

You love this country.

Be proud of your country.

Today America is strong.

Our first responsibility is to this country.

The people of this Nation are eager to get on with the quest for new greatness.

They deserve the best their Nation can offer them because they are the best of this Nation.

America does not fail them.

Soon we will return to our own America.

Considering our history, I think it is understandable why my countrymen are puzzled when someone calls us a 'colonialist' power.

This nation has never left the field of battle in abject surrender of a cause for which it has fought.

One of my countrymen has said that although he never really expects to see Heaven, it is all right--because he has seen Denmark.

I believe that those who make that case are no less patriotic and no less sincere than those who believe that we cannot shorten the length of our reach into the world.

We have full confidence that the entire Nation will reap the profits from your achievements.

Now is the time for all good Americans to come to the aid of their country, and unite behind their country.

The time has come in our national life for us to be together, not apart.
