A grateful nation must never forget that.

American owes you a debt of gratitude for all that you have done for our Nation and for all that you continue to do to protect the blessings of liberty we cherish.

We as a nation are determined to turn that around.

I believe that this Nation is really prepared in a way that it has not been before, at least in my experience, to do something about violent crime.

It will create thousands and thousands of jobs in the years ahead all across our Nation.

Your nation is in a position to really exercise a leadership role.

I am determined that our Nation will stand by them as they face the difficult challenges ahead.

Families are our Nation's lifeblood and strength.

This week we took a big step toward restoring opportunity and prosperity to the people of our Nation when I signed into law our economic growth plan.

The most precious asset any nation has is the people who live there.

These two outstanding individuals will make fine representatives of our Nation.

Ours is a Nation of laws, united not just by a common language and culture, but by a unique devotion to and belief in a national common law: our Constitution.

Tonight I present to you a comprehensive plan to set our Nation on that new course.

Father's Day not only brings due honor to the men who have dedicated themselves to one of life's highest callings but also provides the American people with an opportunity to reflect on all that fatherhood means to us as individuals and as a Nation.
