As a Nation of immigrants, America has been shaped and strengthened by the millions who have come to our shores seeking a better future.

We have taken important steps that speak to who we are as a Nation that cares for its families and children.

Let us pray for the men and women of our Armed Forces and the many selfless sacrifices they and their families make on behalf of our Nation.

We're also one Nation, and our goal has to be to find ways to find common ground and to work together.

I want America to be that nation.

As a Nation, we rely on law enforcement officers to keep our neighborhoods safe.

Thanks to law enforcement officers, our Nation is more secure.

Let us give thanks for the many blessings God has bestowed upon our Nation.

Our Nation's future depends on the education we provide to our sons and daughters.

Our task as a Nation—and our mission as an Administration—is to harness that innovative spirit, that productive energy, and that potential in order to create jobs.

This is a Nation ready to meet the challenges of this new age and to lead the world in this new century.

African American history is an essential thread of the American narrative that traces our Nation's enduring struggle to perfect itself.

Rising to these challenges is the responsibility we bear for the future of our children, our grandchildren, and our Nation.

We must do all we can to support our Nation's entrepreneurs.
