I am very proud that the Family and Medical Leave Act was the very first piece of legislation I signed into law.

I am pleased that the House has passed the 'Credit Union Membership Access Act' to protect and strengthen credit unions for the 71 million Americans who own, use, and rely upon them.

When Congress sends me this bill, I will sign it.

H.R. 3743 would harm U.S. efforts to halt the Iranian nuclear weapons program.

H.R. 3743 will not end the Bushehr nuclear reactor project in Iran.

The Brady bill is about as good an example as any I can think of for what the difference is today.

To amend chapter 87 of title 5, United States Code, with respect to the order of precedence to be applied in the payment of life insurance benefits.

This bill leaves out millions of Americans; it leaves out critical patient protections.

The Republican leadership's legislation does not apply to the individual insurance market and therefore excludes millions of Americans.

It is the President's hope that Republicans and Democrats can work across party lines to put progress ahead of partisanship and pass legislation that provides Americans with the patients' protections they need and deserve.

H.R. 4250 is seriously flawed legislation.
