Thanksgiving is a time when we acknowledge that all of these things, and life itself, come not from the hand of man, but from Almighty God.

We give thanks for the many gifts that come from this prosperous land.

I thank our Nation's veterans for the fine example that you have set for our country.

I thank you for your courage.

We give thanks for the emergency responders who set an example of selfless sacrifice that we will never forget.

We also give thanks on Thanksgiving for our many blessings.

We give thanks for the love of family and friends, and we ask God to continue to watch over America.

This Thanksgiving, we pray and express thanks for the men and women who work to keep America safe and secure.

I want to thank you all for coming out tonight.

Thank you all for giving me a chance to come by and thank you and share some thoughts with you.

On this day, we express our gratitude for all the contributions of Polish Americans to our Nation and for the strong relationship between the United States and Poland.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Our Nation's sense of gratitude is the source of the great generosity and compassion of our people.

We can be grateful to live in a country that has produced such good and brave people who stand between us and the dangers of the world.

They have the gratitude of the Commander in Chief.

Whether they served with the Reserve Forces or the Air and Army National Guard, each of them has my personal gratitude and the respect and admiration of a grateful Nation.

I send our Nation's gratitude and prayers to the loved ones who are grieving today in Italy.
