Well, there is nothing cold about your welcome here today--and I thank each of you from the bottom of a grateful heart.

I want to say a deep thank you from the bottom of my heart for your warm welcome to this wonderful State of sunshine here in Arizona.

I want to tell you how grateful I am that Arizona furnishes one of our Cabinet members, Stewart Udall, and his lovely wife, and I am very proud of him.

All Americans are grateful to you for that moving gesture.

I want to say on behalf of all the people of this Nation that we, the people of the United States, are deeply in the debt of the people of Oklahoma for the quality of the men that they send to the United States Congress.
